An impressive meeting was held between Chief Rabbi of Moldova, Rabbi Zalman Abelsky and Oren David, Israel’s Ambassador to Romania. The meeting was held in the Chief Rabbinate’s office in Kishinev, Moldova’s capital. During the meeting Rabbi Abelsky and Ambassador David talked about Judaism and the experiences that Jewish citizens faced in Moldova. The ambassador was given a brief overview of Chabad activities in the country, and the ongoing need for basic supplies among Jewish communities in Kishinev and the surrounding communities. The Ambassador commented on “springs of life” experiences of Jewish citizens faced in Moldova.
